As soon as the Israelites escape slavery in Egypt, they encounter a big test of faith, one in which they must learn to trust the Lord in the face of frightening and confusing circumstances. The same is true in the Christian life; we often face situations that we don't understand, but which the Lord uses to deepen our trust in him. As we look at "Trusting God's Rescue Plan" in Exodus 13:17-14:14, we will find timeless principles for learning to trust in our great rescuing God!
