As we continue in our sermon series "Jesus Stories," we’ll look at Mark 2:13-17. In this passage, Jesus calls Matthew (Levi) to follow him and then goes to Matthew’s house to share a meal with his friends. The grumbling of the lurking-in-the-shadows pious religious leaders prompts another confrontation by Jesus. We’ll learn to whom, how, and why Jesus desires to minister . . . providing a model for us to follow.
