This Sunday’s sermon begins a new series in the Gospel of Mark entitled "Jesus Stories" in which we will take a look at some of the earliest interactions between Jesus and others at the very beginning of his earthly ministry. As we do so, Jesus' heart for us as his children and his desire to be intimately involved in shaping the stories of our lives will come into focus. Starting this week with Mark 1:21-28, we'll see how Jesus uses his power and authority not to impress or control, but to heal and restore and serve.
