As the narrative in Exodus shifts from the conversation between Yahweh and Moses on Mount Sinai to the interactions between Moses, Aaron, and Pharaoh in Egypt, Exodus 4:18-31 provides insight into some key aspects of the commission that God has given Moses and the commission that we have received. In particular, we are reminded that God has called us to be part of a much larger story than we can even understand and that God’s love for his people provides the means for us to be in right relationship with him and to experience an adventure far beyond our wildest dreams.
