As we closed out our last series in the Psalms with a look at Psalm 77 we were encouraged to remember the Lord as our refuge by looking back to how he has acted on behalf of his people in the past. Now we jump into a new series in Exodus, where we will take a detailed look at one of greatest rescue stories of all time. We will begin our series, "God Prepares His People," by looking at Exodus 1 this week. As we see the Lord beginning to prepare his people for rescue from slavery to Egypt, we will be reminded that the Lord has made a way for us in Christ to be rescued from our slavery to sin.
