Our Advent theme this year is "Prince of Peace," taken from Isaiah's prophecy of the coming Messiah in Isaiah 9:6. The experience of peace is one that we all desire in the midst of various trials and struggles in life, ones that can particularly seem to surface during the holiday season. And so we will look to God's Word as a guide for how we can experience true peace only in the Lord. On this First Sunday of Advent, we will begin with Psalm 85, a wonderful psalm used for centuries by the church specifically in the season of Advent.
