As we continue in our fall sermon series, we’ll take a look this Sunday at “Commissioning Jesus” in Matthew 10:1-23. In chapters 8 and 9, Jesus demonstrates the power of the kingdom of heaven. He then, in chapter 10, sends his twelve disciples to proclaim and demonstrate the same. We will see how our Lord’s methods and principles of being on mission for him also apply to us as His followers.
