In II Corinthians 5:1-10, Paul continues his thought from the end of chapter four, reminding the church at Corinth of their present and future realities in Christ. We are not unique in our current struggles. Though it may seem as if our only reality is what our senses observe, Paul encourages the believer to not get stuck in this kind of thinking. May we always remember that our strength is found in the reality of who Christ is, the redemption that he provided, and that this strength should always lead to a response that is pleasing to the Lord.
